Consultations:
- We provide consultations with a specialist for all heart and lung conditions, and also for general medical problems. We accept referrals from both GPs and self referrals from patients.

Screening services:
- Cardiovascular risk assessment
This includes bloods tests, ECG and a consultation to advise on the risk of cardiovascular events – heart attack and stroke – and advice on lifestyle and treatment to reduce risk
- Pre-participation screening for athletes
Sudden cardiac death is a rare but devastating risk for competitive sportsmen and women at all levels. Many of the causes for this can be picked up on examination and simple non-invasive tests. Screening is recommended by the European Society of Cardiology and most major sporting organisations. The screening will involve a consultation with a Heart Specialist, an ECG and an echocardiogram (ultrasound scan of the heart)
- Heart failure screening
Heart failure often presents with progressive breathlessness with activity or swelling of the ankles. It can be overlooked in the early stages as symptoms can be mild and non-specific. Screening for heart failure involves a specific blood test and echocardiogram (ultrasound scan of the heart) followed by an appointment with a Heart Specialist.
